Grab Life by The Globe

Discovery Channel / Toyota

Explore the remote, rugged corners of the world and turn no man's land into your land! Partnering with Toyota's agency Satch and Saatchi, I led the design of a unique social destination where we encouraged users to submit their outdoor aventures via the hashtag #grablife. We then aggregated all the user generated content and displayed it whithin a map style interface allowing adventure seekers to truly explore the world. The map was also populated with Discovery channel's content from across the globe.

Prototype

This is an example of one of the interactive prototypes that I created to hand off to the development team. Based on these interactions, the developers were able to capture our team's vision for motion within the site.

Commercial

Closing Remarks

Besides the main digital experience, I was also involved in the art direction and creation of all additional promotional materials created for the program. We developed an entire ad campaign around the content, which included, the commercial above, which ran as pre-roll and mid-roll throughout Discovery's family of networks.
